Your presenter is Philip Mendes, who for over 25 years represented numerous technology transfer offices in their technology transfer transactions.

His clients included the tech transfer offices of 18 universities in Australia and Asia, as well as the tech transfer offices of 21 research institutes, hospitals, and government laboratories.

​

For so long being part of the TTO landscape, Philip started to share with TTOs his observations of tech transfer better practices and strategies employed by other TTOs, as well as sharing experiences of TTOs in the United States and Europe.

​

These insights and experience are the basis of Philip's consulting on commercialisation improvement which he has undertaken since 2005, some of which he shares in this workshop.

​

​He is an Adjunct Professor at Queensland University of Technology, where he teaches Management and Commercialisation of Intellectual Property.

 

He has presented in excess of 250 practical licensing and intellectual property related workshops throughout Asia and Australia.
